Supported by a battery from the STIHL AP system, it facilitates convenient work with battery power. The low-maintenance EC motor ensures a fast closing speed and high cutting performance for rapid work progress. The STIHL ASA 140 has long-lasting sharp blades, is low-maintenance and impresses with its ease of use and consistently high performance throughout the entire battery life. Another advantage is the precise cutting result: this creates cuts which are less susceptible to infection and therefore contributes to healthy growth.
STIHL ASA 140 battery pruning shears make it easy for you to comfortably cut branches up to a diameter of 45 mm. The ergonomically designed, well-balanced softgrip handle and the progressive cut also contribute to this, with the blade movement when cutting following the finger movement on the control switch. The ASA 140 has 2 blade opening widths, facilitating ideal adaptation to the cutting task at hand. This makes it possible for you to achieve faster progress when cutting a lot of thinner branches, for example. The easy-to-read OLED display of the ASA 140 battery pruning shears gives you an overview of the battery charge level, the selected blade opening width, the total number of cuts made and any maintenance requirement.
In addition to the STIHL ASA 140 itself, delivery includes a carrying system with holster, a battery bag with connecting cable and ADVANCE X-Flex cable guide, a grinding stone, maintenance tools and a robust case with removable insert and storage net.
All battery power tools within the STIHL AP system have been designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others.
