If you don’t already have a STIHL AS system battery and charger, it’s worth buying the STIHL GTA 30 battery pruner in a set with 2x STIHL AS 2 lithium-ion batteries and an AL 5-2 high-speed double charger. You will also receive a sturdy tool case and STIHL Multioil Bio multi-purpose oil. This means that you can get going with your planned work right away.
The STIHL GTA 30 battery pruner is ideal for domestic tree and shrub care, sawing wooden construction materials and shredding grass cuttings. The STIHL GTA 30 is also suitable for cutting thick branches and cutting deadwood into smaller quantities of firewood. Thanks to its high cutting performance, it is the optimal solution for more extensive wood cutting jobs in domestic settings. The chain tension can be adjusted quickly and without tools while working, by simply opening and closing the chain sprocket cover. The orange fold-out tensioning lever enables the correct chain tension to be set and as such facilitates quick, tool-free assembly of the cutting attachment after cleaning or chain replacement - even with gloves on.
Its very powerful EC motor and STIHL 1/4" PM3 saw chain means you are fully equipped for clean cutting and fast progress. With the STIHL Light 01 guide bar, branches up to 15 cm in diameter can be cut cleanly and comfortably, with low vibrations. Its integrated sprocket nose reduces friction losses and improves cutting efficiency, while two AS 2 batteries ensure plenty of reserve power so you can work for longer.
The highly visible orange controls are within easy reach for both left- and right-handed users. For precise, safe handling, the battery pruner has rubberised handles which allow them to be used in either hand and in various cutting positions. The slim design, low operating weight and ergonomic handles ensure a high level of working comfort, even over a long period of time. The swinging protective hood also protects you from the sharp chain while working. Other features of the STIHL GTA 30 include a clearly visible LED charge level display and carrying ring for practical storage on the wall.
A holster for the GTA 30 is available as a useful accessory for carrying the GTA 30 battery pruner on a belt.
