The STIHL FSA 120 R battery brushcutter impresses with its powerful performance and high efficiency for professionals in garden and landscape maintenance as well as for demanding domestic work. The brushcutter is so quiet that you can work without ear protection and even in noise-sensitive areas, for example, schools, hospitals or city parks.

Thanks to the loop handle, you have the greatest possible flexibility when mowing on slopes or uneven terrain. The compact design allows a high degree of freedom of movement between trees and shrubs and in other confined spaces. The loop handle can be easily adjusted to your height using the quick-mounting system so that an ergonomic working position is possible at all times. In addition, the barrier bar can be quickly and easily installed or removed.

You can set the speed for the powerful EC motor via variable speed adjustment with 2 speed settings directly on the control handle . In ECO mode (stage 1), you work at lower engine speeds, for example in lighter applications. Thanks to the lower energy consumption, you can extend the battery life. If you need the full speed for cutting scrub and thick grass, simply switch to level 2 using the slide switch. You can adjust the variable speed according to how the tool is being used.

This brushcutter is equipped with a STIHL AutoCut 27–2 mowing head as standard, which ensures precise and clean clearing work when cutting lawn edges, on trees or stairs. Depending on the application, you can use a wide range of optional mowing heads and cutting tools. The STIHL harness supplied as standard also supports effortless and safe working. It is simply attached to the practical eyelet, which you can adjust to your height without using tools. The handy carrying ring makes it easier to store the FSA 120 R battery-powered brushcutter.

All battery power tools within the STIHL AP System have been designed for professional applications and daily work, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others.

  • FOR SAFE WORK IN SMALL SPACES. The loop handle ensures good manoeuvrability of your power tool, even in confined spaces. The barrier bar protects you by ensuring your feet and legs cannot come too close to blades or mowing heads during work.
  • COMFORTABLE WORK. To make your work easier and improve ergonomics, you can attach a harness to this STIHL power tool. You can use a special eyelet to do so.
  • SET THE BIKE HANDLE POSITION. You can individually adjust the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) using the central clamping device. Thanks to the tool-free handle adjustment, you do not need any tools for this. The bike handle can be rotated 90 degrees for transport and space-saving storage.
  • LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
  • FOR COMFORTABLE HANDLING. Thanks to the soft components on the control handle, your work tool sits comfortably in the hand and can be guided safely. The softgrip handle also improves your grip, especially when wet. The ergonomic lever also makes work easier, as there is no need to unlock the machine again while working, as long as one hand continuously remains on the rear handle.
