The very powerful STIHL TSA 500 B battery cut-off machine from the STIHL AP system is powered by 2 STIHL AP 500 S batteries. It is versatile and ideal for pros in horticulture and landscaping, civil engineering, rescue services and fire brigades. It reliably cuts a wide range of materials such as steel, concrete, brick or natural stone. Thanks to its emission-free operation, the TSA 500 B battery cut-off machine can also be used indoors.
The powerful EC motor operates almost wear-free, is quiet and is characterised by smooth running and low vibrations. In addition, the electronic control system ensures that the TSA 500 B operates at optimum performance throughout the entire battery life. The battery cut-off machine is equipped with a STIHL magnetic filter to protect the engine from metal dust and metal particles and to ensure a long service life. For frequent cutting work with steel, it is easy to clean.
The STIHL TSA 500 B is easy to handle: Thanks to the ergonomically optimised control handle with digital operating unit, ADVANCE PLUS module with integrated STIHL Smart Connector for integration into STIHL Connected power tool management and LED display, you have all the controls conveniently in your hand.
The ergonomic control handles and rigid design of the TSA 500 B enable precise guidance during positioning and cutting. The TSA 500 B is designed for 350 mm cutting wheels and achieves a maximum cutting depth of 125 mm. In the accessories for cut-off machines, you can find a range of cutting wheels, such as diamond cutting wheels, to suit different applications. When buying cutting wheels, ensure you select the right size for your cut-off machine and that the cutting wheels are suitable for the materials you want to cut.
Another benefit of the STIHL TSA 500 B battery cut-off machine is the runout brake with recuperation function. It brakes the cutting wheel within seconds – and you can continue working almost immediately. During braking, the kinetic energy is converted into electrical energy and fed into the battery. With the standard water connection, the dust can be efficiently bound both inside and outside. This enables efficient work with reduced strain.
The adjustable magnesium guard with integrated water guide protects during operation. It removes dirt in a targeted manner and at the same time offers a very good view of the cutting wheel.
All battery power tools within the STIHL AP system have been designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others. For the STIHL TSA 500 B battery cut-off machine, the splash guard that has already been proven by internal testing has also been certified in accordance with the IPX4 protection class.
