The STIHL BG 86 petrol blower weighs just 4.4 kg, making it easy to handle and versatile to use. Whether you are a homeowner, caretaker, landscape gardener or municipal worker, you can use this power tool to effectively clear leaves and grass clippings from outdoor areas. You can work with the round nozzle or opt for the flat nozzle, which offers a wide air stream for working close to the ground. This ensures that the BG 86 leaf blower can even be used to clear larger areas. Thanks to the HD2 filter, the STIHL BG 86 blower is also suitable for working in dusty environments.

Despite its compact design, the leaf blower is powerful and efficient thanks to the STIHL 2-MIX engine. Meanwhile, STIHL ElastoStart ensures a smooth start-up process without any jerky movements needed. Single-hand operation means you can keep your hand on the handle as you operate the blower. The locking throttle leverwith stop button allows you to conveniently set the desired blowing power on the STIHL BG 86 for specific tasks and to stop the power tool with the push of a button. The petrol leaf blower also features the STIHL anti-vibration system, which protects your muscles and joints while you work.

  • A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
  • COMFORTABLE ADJUSTMENT OF BLOWING FORCE. The throttle trigger can be used to adjust the engine performance and as such the usable blowing force. You can adjust the engine output between idling and full power on an infinitely variable basis. The throttle trigger always remains in your preferred position. A brief thumb press on the stop button is sufficient to switch off the power tool. The blower remains immediately ready to be used again.
  • The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption.

    The two-stroke engine with STIHL 2-MIX technology saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70% compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.
  • Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
