The compact STIHL FSA 30 battery lawn trimmer is an extremely light grass trimmer that is particularly suitable for mowing medium-height grass, maintaining lawn edges and clearing around trees, under shrubs, and along walls or stairs.

The electric motor of the FSA 30 operates so quietly that you do not need to wear hearing protection during use, making this brushcutter ideal for use in noise-sensitive areas. The entry-level model is supplied with energy by interchangeable batteries from the flexible STIHL AS-System. LEDs on the power tool indicate the battery charge level.

The STIHL FSA 30 is equipped as standard with a STIHL PolyCut 3-2 mowing head with 2 robust and movable PolyCut plastic blades. To enable quick blade replacement, up to 6 PolyCut blades can be stored in the storage unit on the power tool and replaced directly on the mowing head without the need for tools. Thanks to its ergonomic design, flexible adjustment options and low weight of only 2.3 kg including battery, the FSA 30 enables comfortable, effortless work.

You can adjust the telescopic shaft and loop handle in stages at the push of a button, to suit your height. The working angle of the mowing unit can also be easily adjusted for even more comfortable work, and you can simply turn the mowing unit by 90° to enable precise cutting of lawn edges.

  • EFFICIENT CUTTING OF LAWN EDGES. To cut lawn edges comfortably, precisely and quickly, you can turn the mowing unit by 90° with a few simple movements. This means that vertical cuts for lawn edges can be made in a normal working position, and sharp contours along paths or flower beds can be easily cut out.
  • FOR GOOD PLANNABILITY. At the push of a button, the LED charge-level indicator will inform you at any time about your battery’s remaining capacity. This allows you to efficiently plan working hours and charge the battery in good time.
  • QUICK BLADE CHANGE. If the blades on the mowing head become worn, you don’t need to go and fetch new replacement blades: up to six replacement blades can be easily stored on the power tool. This allows you to rapidly replace parts and quickly continue your work.
  • PROTECTION WHEN MOWING. The spacer bracket protects both your plants and the mowing head. You can fold it up or down as needed. When mowing with a line or other plastic cutting tool, it will ensure that you are trimming precisely and not damaging plants, bark or objects, as the mowing line does not cut beyond the position of the spacer bracket.
