The STIHL FS 70 R petrol brushcutter is suitable for domestic applications when you need maximum manoeuvrability for mowing in tight spaces. The practical wraparound handle is invaluable when working between shrubs and bushes. Mowing of lawns can also be tackled quickly.

Your STIHL FS 70 R brushcutter is powered by a high-torque, fuel-efficient STIHL 2-MIX engine. The manual fuel pump facilitates quick start-up with only a few pulls required on the starter cord.

The single-handed multi-function handle makes operation easier, as you can control the engine with just one hand. Thanks to the stop button, the STIHL FS 70 R brushcutter can be restarted immediately after an interruption without having to press any switches.

For longer periods of work, it is advisable to use the harness included in delivery, as it makes your work more comfortable and protects your muscles and joints. The STIHL FS 70 R can be equipped with a wide range of STIHL cutting tools to suit the application at hand.

  • A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
  • All the engine controls are at your fingertips, allowing easy and safe operation.
  • RESTART WORK QUICKLY. With the stop button, you can switch off your power tool quickly and easily for a short break, for example. As the button springs back to its original position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to start again. This provides more comfort after breaks and increases your work efficiency.
  • The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption.

    The two-stroke engine with STIHL 2-MIX technology saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70% compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.
